Chapter 56: Confession

Jiang Suizhou eventually lay down with her. Guan Xi’s period made her especially sensitive to cold, so she kept snuggling into his embrace while sleeping.

He leaned against the pillow, one hand holding her as she slept, while the other hand held his phone to communicate with people below. He had just rushed over from the company after receiving a message from Guan Xi, leaving his work pending and unfinished.

Meanwhile, the person she held tightly had already been forced to sleep.

Jiang Suizhou’s lips curled slightly. He lowered his head and kissed her on the nose, whispering, “Then you better keep your word.”
