She coming back within ten days of her trip abroad meant they had been apart for almost ten days. Jiang Suizhou quickly asked, “Aren’t you supposed to come back tomorrow?”

“I missed you, and since everything’s done, I decided to come back early,” Guan Xi said, “Hey, let’s talk later when we meet. I’m heading over now.”

“Sure, okay.”

When Jiang Suizhou put away his phone, a trace of pleasantly surprised smile lingered on his lips. He looked at Jiang Ci, got up, walked over to Xie Yan, and said, “Let me take over. Ci, come here.”

“Yeah.”

Song Li said, “Go ahead, quickly pick her up.”

Jiang Suizhou nodded and left the private room. As he walked along the corridor towards the stairs, Guan Xi was coming up. 

“Why are you standing here? You could have just told me the room number,” Guan Xi said as she walked up.

“Just came out for a walk,” Jiang Suizhou replied.

“Oh, and where’s Ci?”

“He’s inside.”

“I’ll go check on him then.” Guan Xi’s eyes showed a hint of eagerness. She walked around Jiang Suizhou, heading straight into the corridor. After a few steps, she turned back, “Which private room is it?”

Jiang Suizhou stood in place, watching her for a few seconds before saying, “Room 409.”

“Got it!”

Guan Xi went to the private room direction without any lingering. Many people say that when a woman has her own child, her thoughts will be all on the child. Regarding this theory, Jiang Suizhou actually doesn’t believe it much because in his heart, Guan Xi is still like an immature child. She remains willful, still acts cute, and still clings to him.

So, he really didn’t expect that the first person she urgently wanted to see after returning from a trip after giving birth would be their son. In the past, when she returned from elsewhere, she would definitely jump on him first.

Guan Xi walked in and immediately found her little son among the crowd. At this moment, he was nestled in Xie Yanhuai’s arms, playing who knows what.
